Jai Glindeman is part of a new generation of surfers that you hope stay out of a contest jersey. With a style so natural and all their own, thought of scores and results could only get in the way.

            An incredible part is highlighted with a surf on one of Joel Parkinson’s magic boards that he’s nicknamed, “The Golden Child.” There is something poetic about seeing someone I hope to never see in a contest ride a board that has done so well in contests. The breaking of said board was a true cherry on top. Joel Parkinson has made his money, he doesn’t need it anymore.
