There’s something extremely genuine about the way Scotty Stopnik goes about life. He’s doesn’t seem too concerned about what the rest of the longboard world is doing, and would rather surf near home and skate with his family than chase the crowd around the California coast. He’s been nose riding longboards and throwing airs on shortboards in the same session before some random brand put marketing dollars behind it. I’ve never met someone who can name the location of every In n Out in California before I met him.
